Kingdom Kingsmen Leadership Note: A Brotherhood That Holds

Brothers,

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank each of you for standing with me and for stepping up with strength, grace, and compassion during a season that has been personally heavy for me. Your calls, your presence, your check-ins, your prayers—every act has not only supported the McRae family but has also carried me in ways I did not expect but desperately needed.

Losing Pastor McRae was not just a loss of a brother—it was a spiritual blow. Over the past few months, we’ve been pushing: event after event, need after need, with very little time to breathe. Between school, business, ministry, and the weight of leadership that God has placed over my life, I’ve felt the weariness creeping in. My social battery has run low. Convocation nearly emptied the tank—and yet more responsibilities came. But through all of it, you were there.

This is what true Kingdom leadership and brotherhood looks like. We don’t just serve—we lift each other. We don’t just plan—we pray, encourage, and carry the weight together. You reminded me that leadership is not about “I” but “we”—and that brotherhood is not just about being present, but about being united in purpose.

Leadership, as I recently shared with my professor, isn’t about trends or crowd size; it’s about impact and identity. It’s about leading not to be seen, but so others can rise. It’s not easy—it demands selflessness, authenticity, and emotional transparency. It requires dying to self, sometimes daily. However, it’s also one of the most rewarding callings because it allows God to do His deepest work through us.

As we look ahead, I want us to anchor ourselves in Psalm 133:1-2—verses Pastor McRae deeply cherished. These will be central to our next season of focus, and I’m praying about making them our banner scriptures for the Kingdom Kingsmen. Let these words remind us of who we are and who we serve: unified, anointed, and covered.

To our newest member—your assurance and steady presence have been a quiet strength. Thank you for jumping in and locking arms with us so quickly.

May God continue to bind us together, grant us wisdom, strengthen our hands, and purify our hearts. I love each of you, and I am honored to lead with you.
